Fayose, Formal governor of Ekiti State has advised Nigerian using Virtual Private Network to access Twitter not to be moved by empty threat of arrest order giving by Federal government assuring that anyone arrested will be celebrated.
It could be recalled that Federal government last week suspended the operations if Twitter in Nigeria citing what it described as “the persistent use of the platform for activities that are capable of undermining Nigerian’s corporate existence.”
While reacting to the order Fayose assured that anyone arrested will end up being celebrated noting that the dictatorship govt came and shall surely go.
Anyone they arrest will only end up being celebrated. No one should be moved by empty threats of arrest. Certainly, what has a beginning must have an end. This dictatorial govt came and shall definitely go. No shaking! Good days ahead.”
