JUST IN: Top EPL Football Club Player Charged With Rape
Top Premier League football club, Manchester City have suspended their player, Benjamin Mendy.
Mendy was suspended on Thursday after Cheshire police confirmed the Frenchman has been charged with four counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
In a statement, City said,
“Manchester City can confirm that following his being charged by police today, Benjamin Mendy has been suspended pending an investigation.”
