Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, has confirmed the existence of a political structure being nurtured by him.
The former Governor of Lagos State told a group of Editors of popular national newspaper, This Day, that contrary to general belief, he has his own political structure but added that, “only I know, my structure”.
The This Day editors had asked him why he did not have his own political structure in the state he governed with so much success for eight years which has kept his popularity soaring to the national level.
“Structure? I have my own structure. That’s all. Only I, know my structure,” he responded.
The general belief in political circle in the state was that the Minister, a very popular figure in the state as a result of his successful eight year reign in the state, did not have a political structure but only busy himself with administering the state.
