The Ex-Deputy Governor of Osun State, Sen. Iyiola Omisore on Tuesday lost his father, Oba Olajide Omisore.
Before his demise, Oba Omisore, who marked his 90th birth anniversary last July, was the Olu of Ayepe Olode in Osun State.
Senator Omisore announced the passage of his father in a press statement obtained in Osogbo, the state capital.
The statement read in part, “On behalf of the OMISORE Dynasty, it is with the deepest sense of loss and gratitude to God that we inform you of the triumphant return of our beloved father Oba David Olajide Omisore to his Heavenly Father.
“Baba joined his ancestors peacefully. Kabiyesi sailed on January 04, 2022. Further announcement would be made in due course.”
