Members of the the running party, All Progressives Congress (APC) have welcomed the minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola to Iwo federal constituency.
The Chieftains of the party in Osun storm Iwo in continuation of the federal constituency meeting which started yesterday at Oriade/ Obokun federal constituency yesterday, the presence of the Nigeria Police could not be seen.
ADULAWONEWS gathered the party under the leadership of Alhaji Rasak Salinsile has sent a letter a notification letter dated February 13, 2022 to the police command informing them of the Constituency meetings.
The meeting is coming few hours after Aregbesola’s convoy was attacked by some suspected political thugs in Osogbo, the state capital yesterday.
However, Nigeria Service and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and Hunter Group of Nigeria are on ground to give cover for the people.
Aregbesola will also today hand over the All Progressives Congress flag to Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, an aspirant of the party in the 2022 Guber poll in the state of Osun.
