An Ogun State born Information Technology expert, Hon. Akeem Oluseye (HAO) has made his intention known to contest for the state House of Assembly under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023.
Oluseye, a social scientist and former chairmanship aspirant declared his intention to represent the people of Abeokuta North at the state assembly at a meeting held at Ward 7 in Gbagura Community, Abeokuta North LGA on Wednesday, March 02, 2022.

While addressing the gathering, HAO appreciated the people for their unflinching support, noting that his intention to run for the Assembly ticket is based on the unquenchable love he has for humanity.
He added that a support for him is a support for quality representation and provision of dividends of democracy to the people of Abeokuta North.
“I’m happy to be with my people here today. This is my immediate community, it makes fundamental and logical sense to come here first to make my intention known because all Politics is local.”
“I need the support of everyone; this is our project, we must all work effectively in achieving the dream. Representing you will bring various progressive projects to improve the status of Abeokuta North and the people.”
Oluseye also promised to work for the party’s progress towards the 2023 general elections both at the state and National levels.
“APC is our party; we will continue doing everything to support our people and party. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we rolled out a lot of relief packages for our people which went a long way in relieving the effects of the pandemic. If we could do this as an individual, we will do better as a representative.”
“God’s grace coming 2023 general election, our party will retain this state and the nation.
