In a fresh attack, three persons have been feared killed in Ungwar Maiduniya and Ungwar Bulus community of Chikun local government area of Kaduna State with over 20 others kidnapped.
Although the Councillor representing Sabo Ward of the local government, Hon. Makama, confirmed that two persons were killed with about 15 persons kidnapped, he added that kidnapped persons were likely to be more as details of the missing persons were still being collated.
A source confirmed that the bandits entered the communities in their large numbers at about 9pm on Thursday night and started shooting sporadically, killing three persons in the process and taking away more than 20 others to an unknown destination.
It was gathered that four of the bandits where trapped in the affected communities by the locals and security agents but details could not be ascertained.

Meanwhile, when the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Muhammed Jalige, was contacted on the matter, he promised to contact the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of the area and revert, but has not done so as at the time of filing this report.
