Governor AbdulRahmon AbdulRasaq of Kwara State has said that his administration is committed to making the appropriate investments in human capital, job creation, infrastructure development, and security architecture in order to promote socio-economic growth and investor safety.
He stated this at the commissioning of TVS 3c center in Offa, Offa local government area of the state.
AbdulRahmon said, the business venture began last year August with the 100 tricycles given to members of Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria (TOAN) to boost community transport system and improve the local economy.
He however commended the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Interventions for the great efforts that culminated in the success been celebrated.
He also commended all partners in the venture which include,: the Offa Community led by His Royal Highness the Olofa of Offa Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi (Esuwoye II), Tolak Nigeria Ltd which provides the building, and the TVS that signed up to use the structure for the purpose of assembling, servicing and sales of all its brands in Offa, Kwara State.
“This venture will attract customers from within and outside of Kwara State, thereby providing new job opportunities for our young people as technicians and salesmen, and improving the local economy.” He added.
He therefore urged of people offa to continue to allow a peaceful environment for businesses to thrive.
