The Nigeria Police Force has apprehended a police officer, ASP Eyitere Joseph, attached to the Meiran division in Lagos state, for allegedly collecting N50,000 bribe from a corp member.
A video of the officer asking the Corp member for money was shared online.
The acting spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi after viewing the video gave an update on Twitter, stating that the officer had been apprehended and was under investigation.
He explained further that the DPO of Meiran division has been warned that she will be dealt with if such incident occurs again.
