The NGO gave the charge on Thursday during a 1-day seminar tagged: Training the Trainer’ held in Osogbo, Osun State capital.

The seminar according to its organizers was aimed at broadening the scope of operations of the Foundation, through its participants drawn from 30 local governments, including the area office and members of professional bodies existing in the Osun in an effort to get GOF message to the grassroots.

Speaking, chairman of the NGO, Prince Felix Adeyemi Awofisayo said GOF has become a people-driven movement for continuity and sustenance of the numerous monumental achievements of Governor Oyetola.

He explained that GOF is not in competition with any of the existing party structures saddled with the task of ensuring the re-election of Osun Governor saying the foundation’s goal is to ensure that it’s founder and grand patron is effortlessly returned to office through majority votes.

According to Prince Awofisayo “GOF remains an intervention effort to work strategically with youth enclaves, slum communities, developing sites and politically-passive constituents hitherto unexploited and tainted with political apathy towards mobilizing them for the fast-approaching governorship election.

“We are also determined to use all available media platforms to get our messages to all the various spectrums of the residents of the state, with a view to creating and providing political awareness, social engagement and education avenues to the people at all levels.

“With support from private individuals and corporate bodies, we desire to ensure that all our noble objectives of ensuring that all indelible legacies of Governor Gboyega Oyetola-led administration remain in the sub consciousness of residents and indigenes of the state.

“We also have, as part of our mission, that all our humanitarian efforts survive our Principal even after his tenure in 2026, God willing.”

While explaining other intervention GOF will be engaging in ,Prince Awofisayo said he hopes to make the foundation a household name in Osun in particular and Nigeria in general through ensuring; good governance, education, youth empowerment and health.
