The presidential candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has congratulated former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on his victory at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary.
Atiku in a post on his Twitter page said Tinubu’s emergence in the hard-fought contest confirms his tenacity.
“Congratulations on your emergence as your party’s presidential candidate. It has been a hard-fought contest, but that you prevailed confirms your tenacity. – AA,” Atiku wrote.
Atiku and Tinubu will now face off in the presidential election scheduled for February 25, 2023.
