BREAKING: Tinubu Floors Osinbajo, Others To Clinch APC Presidential Ticket

 

The National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) and Former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primaries.

Announcing the results of the primary election on Wednesday morning, the Returning Officer and Progressives Governors Forum Chairman, Sen Atiku Bagudu, said Tinubu polled votes to defeat his closest challenger and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, who scored 316 votes to come a distant second.

The election, which held at Eagle Square, Abuja, started on Tuesday evening and ended on Wednesday morning. The result was declared on Wednesday afternoon.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo had 235 votes to place third in the election.
