The Otunba of Iwoland, Chief Sikiru Wahab Atanda, has canvassed support for the re-election of Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State.
He said re-election of Governor Oyetola will represent quality,inetellectualism and further be a breakthrough for Iwo producing the next governor of Osun State by 2026.
Otunba Sikiru made the disclosure yesterday while addressing all Iwoland heads of villages and religious groups comprises of Nasfat, Sherifdeen, Kamorudeen and the Association of Baales in Iwoland.
In a separet meeting with the groups, he emphasized the chance of Iwoland in 2026 should Oyetola returns as the number citizen of Osun State.
The groups, in their numbers, pledged their votes and loyalty to Oyetola, urging APC to consider Iwolokan 2026. They promised to mobilize their members in thousands to get Oyetola re-elected.
Assuring them, Otunba Sikiru said Oyetola 2022 is Iwolokan 2026.
“I want to appeal ffor the interest of Iwoland in 2026. The game to 2026 has started in 2022. Let’s mobilize to get Governor Gboyega Oyetola re-elected for 2nd term in office. That is the only assuring condition for Iwo to be governor in 2026. Let’s rally support for APC so we can be compensated back after his second term”
“I’m a patriot of Iwo. Governorship seat is closer to us in APC than PDP. The race starts now. Let’s embrace Oyetola,vote for him in Saturday’s election such that, we will have a voice in 2026”
