The last three years of Hon. Olubukola Oyewo’s tenure as lawmaker representing Oṣogbo Federal Constituency has been a phenomenal one for the territory.
Hon. Oyewo has so far demonstrated through the implementation of his legislative framework that he is determined and unwavering in his commitment towards rejuvenating every sector of his domain.
Immediately after his inauguration into the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, the enthusiastic lawmaker simply rolled up his sleeves and knuckled down to the business of delivering the dividends of democracy and getting Oṣogbo Federal Constituency to start functioning again.
Bukoy, as he is fondly called by his teeming supporters, hit the ground running from the first day he assumed office in 2019, by facilitating the construction of roads and erosion control systems, building ultramodern classroom blocks, sinking boreholes, providing public sanitary facilities and several other key amenities. No council area in his domain has been left behind in his developmental programmes. Inhabitants of Oṣogbo, Erin-Osun, Ifon, Ilobu and other major towns have benefited from various projects and intervention schemes sponsored by the parliamentarian.
The APC chieftain has consistently insisted that he will stop at nothing to protect the interest of his people and prioritize their welfare.
The framework to kick-start the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Oṣogbo Federal Constituency had been laid down in Hon. Olubukola Oyewo’s campaign promises to his constituents while seeking their votes.
In fulfilment of his transformation agenda, Hon. Olubukola Oyewo, in less than four years into his tenure, has not only shamed his critics, but has silenced the opposition and transformed the landscape of Oṣogbo Federal Constituency.
A dispassionate summary of Bukoy’s performance will confirm that virtually every sector of his territory has been positively impacted since 2019 and the definitive testimony of his visionary and progressive political representation has continued to be a reference point.
From 2019 to 2022, over 40 key projects and programs have been initiated and implemented by the Osun federal lawmaker.
This unprecedented development delivered by Oyewo is coming at a time when resources are scarce and hard to source.
Two major talking points have stood out in his first term in office, which have defined his impressive style of representation and the brilliance of his strategic administrative acumen on the home front and at the House of Representatives.
The first is that Rep. Olubukola Oyewo has consistently insisted that his legislative blueprint will protect the welfare and interest of his constituents and only the best will be good enough for Osogbo Federal Constituency.
The second is that he remains one of the few parliamentarians in Osun who have attracted massive infrastructure development projects to his territory.
