Governor ‘Seyi Makinde of Oyo state has appointed a legal practitioner, Hon. Lateef Sarafadeen Abiola from Onijo compound in Saki West Local Government as Chairman Governing Council of The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic, Saki.
This is revealed in a letter dated September 13 by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs Olubamiwo Adeosun.
The Governor Makinde graciously approved the appointment of Barr. Onijo with immediate effect.
Onijo, who is based in Saki, had previously served as Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Saki branch, and was also an external solicitor to Nigerian Army.
According to the letter, his appointment must be seen as a call to service, His Excellency, as well as Government, expecting that he will discharge his duties with absolute loyalty, dedication and diligence.
Onijo is happily married and his union is blessed with children.
