The Board of Gavel Institute of Parliamentary Studies (GIPS) have commended the Speaker of Nigeria House of Representative, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila on the appointment of Mr. Lanre Smart and Barrister Bisi Irinoye as the Chief of Staff and Special Assistant on legal matter respectively, describing it as timely and well deserving.
This is contained in a statement issued and signed on Wednesday by the Chairman of the Board, Mr Ismail Aderounmu and made available to Journalist in Abuja.
Mr. Lanre Smart and Barrister Bisi were described as sound technocrats with proven integrity, loyalty and hard-work, saying, that their appointments did not come as a surprise.
He said he had no doubt that Mr Lanre Smart and Bar. Bisi would bring their wealth of accumulated experience, knowledge and intellectual prowess to bear in discharging their responsibilities and value to her new office.
The statement reads partly;
‘’On behalf of the Management and the Board of Directors of GIPS, I heartily congratulate Mr Lanre Smart and Barr. Bisi Irinoye on their appointments and wish them well in discharging Their various responsibilities”.
