In a bid to aid the availability of clean and safe water and to make life more comfortable for the people of rural areas in the state, Osun State community and Social Development Agency, CSDA, and Osun State Government have being funding many communities projects across the State.
Many residents of different communities in Osun West Senatorial District have been relieved as CSDA, and Osun Government partner to fund the communities projects.
CSDA primary objective is to support community with larger fund in executing projects of their utmost need and intervention on their different projects of need in the communities.
ADULAWONEWS reports that communities like , Ogburo, Elepo and Elemo have been benefited in the millions of naira rehabilitation and upgrading projects of schools in their domains.
While speaking at the commissioning of D.C Primary School Elemo, where parents, religious leaders and government officials all gathered, on Tuesday, the traditional ruler of Akala community, Alabi Oyewole commended the agency for the intervention in the community.

ADULAWONEWS gathered that D.C primary school founded 1955 which has produced professor and many others who are doing well in life and their respective profession.
He said the rehabilitation and upgrading of D.C Primary School block of two classroom would improve the learning of their wards immensely.
He, however, pledged on behalf of the community endless support for the Osun State Government.
On his part, the headmaster, Baptist Day Primary School,Ogburo, in Iwo West Local Council Development Area, Mr Musiliu I, while speaking at the Commissioning said the project was a kind gesture by the agency and Osun government.
He added that the rehabilitation of the school will enhance enabling environment for the pupils to learn.
While disclosing the challenges confronting his school, the headmaster appealed to Osun State Government to support them with manpower by increasing the number of his teaching staff.
The people of Ajagba town also benefits from the magnanimous funding support on digging of borehole project.
ADULAWONEWS reports that the community which is struggling with electricity supply, CSDA also given generator to power the borehole project.
The residents commended the CSDA for always striving their improve their standard of living in Osun Communities.
Some of the residents, Mr. Azeez Ilesanmi and Mrs. Iyabode Bello said, “We all know the significance of water in our society. There is nothing one does in life without using water, so you can agree with me that He who gives water gives life because water is life.
An octogenarian, Babatunde Aminu, while speaking with our correspondent said he is full of joy, added that drinkable water will now be easily access by the community residents with the intervention of CSDA and Osun government.
A mother of three , who simply identified herself as Iya Ajoke said the borehole was the first of kind in the whole community.
She added that the borehole will impact positively into the health of residents of the community at large and will make life more conformable to them.
Earlier in his address, Governor Gboyega Oyetola represented by the Commissioner for Rural and Community Development, Segun Olanibi said “I am highly delighted to address you all on the occasion of the commissioning of Micro Projects supported by Osun State Government under the OSUN CARES (OSUN CSDA DLI 1.4). A world Bank Assisted Intervention.
“Todays’ event marks another milestone in the quest of our Government
to build a vibrant State where social infrastructures are within the reach
of every citizen of the State, “as well as alleviating poverty in the aftermath of COVID-19 Pandemic, which left in it’s trail Economic Hardship, Health and Educational Challenges among others.
“Let me reiterate the fact that whatever intervention made by Osun CSDA is an intervention by the State.
“I congratulate the beneficiaries of these projects and it is my wish that the
projects will be well utilized and adequately maintained” the governor said.
Oyetola also sought for their cooperation with his government saying “I enjoined you to continue and maintain peaceful co-existence at all times.”
The Osun State General Manager of Social Community Development Agency, Mrs Abokede Aderonke Funmi in her own address congratulated communities who benefited from the agency’s largely fund projects.
She acknowledged the support of World Bank and Governor Gboyega Oyetola towards the success of the projects.
