Former federal lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has revealed that the attack on the founder of Omega Fire Ministry Apostle Suleman’s motorcade, was an assassination attempt.
Recall that ADULAWONEWS had earlier reported that some unidentified gunmen ambushed the cleric’s convoy on Warake road in Auchi, Edo State on Friday evening.
No fewer than seven persons including four police officers were killed in the unfortunate attack.

Reacting, Shehu Sani in a tweet on his Twitter handle while condoling with families of the victims, said he has spoken with the Apostle, who confirmed the incident to him.
The former lawmaker wrote, “We thank God for the life of Apostle Suleiman. My condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. The attack is condemnable.

“I have just spoken with Apostle Suleiman. He confirmed to me that it was an assassination attempt on his life and that some of his aides lost their lives. He also confirmed there was an arrest”.
