A US-based university don, Professor Adekunle Oloki, has accused his ex-wife, Kafayat of stopping him from seeing his daughter. Kafayat, who is currently married to Ataoja of Osogbo land, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun, was dragged before an Erin-Osun Customary Court by her former partner.
The plaintiff, during the resumed hearing on Wednesday, told the court that his ex-wife refused to let him have contact with their daughter since she took her to the palace.

However, the counsel to the defendant, S. B. Ajibade said that Oloki has been an absentee father and he has not shown serious interest in seeing his daughter. Replying, Oloki’s counsel stated that claims that the plaintiffs has not made attempts to talk to his daughter was untrue.
Olaore explained that several efforts made to talk to the girl have always been frustrated by her mother, Kafayat. Oloki’s lawyer insisted that the access does not have to be physical, but the woman did not allow the plaintiff to talk to his child at all. The president of the court, K. B.
