Why DSS Withdrew Personnel From Governor Adeleke

A disagreement between the police and the Department of State Services (DSS) was the reason the DSS withdrew its personnel from Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State.

ADULAWONEWS gathered that DSS were said to have withdrawn their operation over alleged disagreement with the police on Thursday, as the headquarters of the department said it would not return the operatives unless the governor intervened.

However, the Spokesperson of the Osun State Governor, Olawale Rasheed, in a statement, titled, “Alleged Withdrawal of Security Personnel: The Matter is Between Police and DSS – Governor’s Spokesperson,” said the matter was being sorted out.
