On his birthday 22nd December, 2022, popular Diamond 88.7FM Yoruba Political Presenter, Mukhtar Ajelogbon has emerged winner of Best Kwara State Political Presenter of the year.
Ajelogbon who defeated other nominees in the category of Yoruba Political Presenter to emerged, received the award alongside other winners of other categories at this year Kwara Achievers’ Award held on Thursday in Ilorin.
He is the anchor of the popular weekly Yoruba political cum community focused programme titled “ÈLÀ LÒRÒ” on Diamond 88.7FM, Ilorin every Sunday between the hours of 3 and 4pm with his unique style of presentation and distinguished way of asking questions that usually put the guests on the show on their toes which has feature representatives of all registered political parties in Kwara, community leaders, government and human rights activists among others to discuss topical issues that affects the populace.
Ajelogbon on behalf of the entire management and staff of the station appreciated the Chairman and CEO of Diamond FM, Senior Apostle Oluwole Awotuyi who employed and gave him the platform to showcase his professional abilities. He gave kudos to the organizer of the Kwara Achievers’ Award 2022 for what he considered an incentive to do more for the benefits of Kwara and Nigeria at large. He dedicated the award to the entire listeners of the shining supreme station Diamond 88.7 FM.
