The Popular Islamic Cleric and Grand Chief Imam of Ikire land, Fadhilat Shiekh Al Imam Alhaji Muhd Raji Ajibade has died.
It was learned that sheik Ajibade died in the late hours of Thursday.
The shock news was revealed in a terse message by an ikire indigene simply identified as Aliu Akintayo Sulayman,
He wrote;
“The Grand chief Imam of ikire land passed away.
May his soul rest in peace”.
Also in a social media post made by a presenter CEO Oko Oro Entertainment media, Agbaje Okoro said the Chief Imam is dead “R. I. P. To The Grand Chief Imam of Ikire land.
May Almighty Allah Grant him Alijanat Fridays”.
An ikire indigene, Ayofe Alawada also confirmed is death of the Chief Imam.
As at the time of filing this report, no official statement has been released by the family of the Late Imam.
