Pandemonium broke out in the Ojota area of Lagos on Monday morning as some hoodlums were reportedly engaged in a shootout.
It was learned that the brawl started between suspected hoodlums and residents of the area.
It was gathered that the Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), a detachment of the Lagos State Police Command, were deployed to Ojota immediately to restore calmness.
However, photos and videos emerging from the scene show that a casualty was recorded.
It was claimed that a civilian was shot dead when members of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) and operatives of the police engaged in a physical clash.
