A group, Coalition of the youth’s voice movement has distance itself from a planned protest billed to hold in Osogbo, capital of Osun.

This was revealed in a statement signed by the president and state secretary, Comrade Adebisi Emmanuel Oluwaseun (Captain) and Comrade Owolabi Hassan Oluwatobi (Tobest), in Osogbo on Saturday.

The group said it is waiting for the report of the committee set up by the governor of the state, Ademola Adeleke, to look in to the issues of fuel scarcity and new Naira notes before taking a decision.

The statement reads, “We wishe to inform the general public that we are not part of any protest planed to hold in Osogbo the State capital of Osun State by some hoodlums and agitators claiming to be the youth’s representative in disguise of EndSarsNoW movement, Sorosoke generations and Youth’s Voice movement.

“We are waiting for the result of the committee constituted by the His Excellency to look in to the issues of fuel scarcity and new Naira notes issues and when we don’t hear or see any action we may organise our own well coordinated peaceful protest at usual.

“We understand that the country situation need an urgent attention but we have to be peace lover.
