The President, Muhammadu Buhari, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, had a closed-door meeting on Monday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The meeting, which marks the third in a series of recent meetings, was held to provide an update on the current currency swap situation.

It was gathered that Governor Emefiele, who was seen leaving the President’s office, declined to speak with reporters on the purpose and details of the meeting.
