Voters in Alusekere, Agodo Ward 5, Unit 9 of Ede North Local Government in Osun State joined the electorate all over the federation early this morning to exercise their franchise.
The Community Chief, Baale Rahim Mukaila Adeleke, in an interview with the Information crew, commended the Independent National Electoral Commission( INEC) and the security operatives on duty at the polling unit.
Chief Adeleke reported, “we verified the materials before the process began, the BIVAS was in order while the ballot boxes were empty.
Speaking on the turn out of electorate from his community, he added that the turnout was impressive, projecting that more people will also be joining to vote before the 2:30pm deadline stipulated by INEC.
He urged the contestants for the Presidential and National Assembly elections to accept whatever would eventually be the outcome the elections in good faith.
The Agodo Ede North Local Government, Ward 5, Unit 9 is the polling unit of the Chief of Staff to Governor Ademola Adeleke where he is expected to cast his vote.
