Mercy Johnson’s Husband Wins House of Reps seat
The All Progressives Congress’ Prince Odi Okojie has been proclaimed the victor of the Esan North East/South East Federal Constituency election in Edo State by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
In the Esan North Local Government Collation Center in Edo on Sunday, Dr. Victor Imade, the University of Jos’ returning officer, made the announcement.
Prince Okojie, the husband of actress Mercy Johnson, celebrated his victory by thanking his supporters and party members in a video posted on his Instagram page.
He emerged winner with total votes of 21,764 to defeat the PDP, which scored 10,007, while LP scored 11,528.
