As part of moves to lessen the impact of naira scarcity on his subjects, the Paramount Ruler of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has dedicated financial support and empowerment to the people of Iwoland.
The empowerment facilitated by one of the noble sons of Iwo, Tunde Rahman, was part of measures to cushion the effects of the current scarcity of currency occasioned by Central Bank of Nigeria, naira swap and seemingly artificial fuel scarcity in the country, saw over 50 beneficiaries received #5,000 each.
Oluwo went further to distribute over 25 sewing machines and 20 grinding machines to ease the economic quagmire on his aspiring subjects.
In addition, the progressive king sent sacks of rice, Semovita, spaghetti, and groundnut oil to princes, chiefs, clerics, and craftspeople all around Iwoland.
Beneficiaries which includes sons and daughters of Iwo, which appreciating the development, prayed fervently for the Monarch and the facilitator of the empowerment program.
