The Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, will tomorrow officially open the 10.5 km phase II of the Osogbo/Ikirun/Kwara State boundary road as one of the initiatives he completed within his first 100 days in office.
The commissioning which will be held at the popular ‘Monday Market’ junction in Ikirun will commence at noon.
This is stated in a statement provided to news crews in Osogbo and signed by Engr. Olusola Ajao, the Coordinating Director for the Ministry of Works and Transport.
The Governor will lead party members, technocrats, traditional leaders, indigenous people, residents, and non-residents, as well as other important stakeholders in the transportation sector, such the NURTW, to the commissioning venue, the statement claims.
Thus, the Organizing Director requests that all invited guests and other dignitaries arrive promptly for the event through a statement.
Recall that the project had been abandoned for more than ten years till Senator Ademola Adeleke’s administration recently permitted its continuation.
