The Police State Command in Lagos has arrested a woman whose name was not given at a business Centre in Baruwa, Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos where she was making photocopies and laminating electoral materials suspected to belong to the Independent National Electoral
Commission, INEC
Benjamin Hundeyin, the State PPRO said in a statement that the 53-year-old woman was nabbed on Thursday at about 4.00 p.m. at Candos Road of Baruwa area.
He added that the woman who was arrested inside a business centre where she was making the photocopies with 550 different INEC materials.
The police spokesperson said the suspect cannot explain how she came about the electoral materials or state the purpose for which she was producing them.
According to him, “The laptop she used in printing the materials has been recovered and she couldn’t give a good account of how she came in possession of the materials.
“The case has been transferred to State CID Yaba for further investigation,”
