The National Executive Council of Osun State Polytechnic Iree Alumni Association (OSPAA) has announced the death of it’s National Auditor, Mr Ige Benjamin.
The National President of the Association, Alh Yakub Akeem Adebayo in a statement through the National Publicity Secretary, Adekunle Sikiru (Abacus), revealed that the Mr Ige Benjamin died during a serious ailment.
The statement reads, “The National Executive Council of Osun State Polytechnic Iree Alumni Association (OSPAA) has announced the demise of it’s National Auditor, Mr Ige Benjamin who bade the world good bye during a serious illness.
“The information received from the family of the deceased indicated that, Mr Ige Benjamin died early hours of Monday, 20th March, 2023 during an ailment that eventually claimed his life.
“The Association described the death of Mr Ige Benjamin as sudden and great lost to the entire members of the Alumni and the institution in general.
“The late Mr Ige Benjamin is the National Auditor of Osun State Polytechnic Iree Alumni Association (OSPAA) and a staff of the institution during his life.
“The National Executive Council therefore prayed to Almighty God to give the family, his associates, management of Osun state polytechnic Iree and Alumni members the fortitude to bear the loss.
“The release further stated that the burial arrangements of the late National Auditor will be communicated later,” the statement reveals.
