A former lawmaker and social critic, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the recent loss by the nation’s Super Eagles against the national team of Guinea Bissau in an African Cup of Nations qualification series.
Sani noted that bad luck has become the country’s only luck.
His statement is contained in a post via his verified Twitter handle on Saturday.
The former lawmaker advised that the nation’s team stops playing any international football tournament until after May 29th.
He wrote: “For the peace and health of our Hearts, it’s better we stop playing any international football tournament until after May 29th. Bad luck has become our only luck.”
