The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have reconvened and resumed the collation of results for Saturday’s supplementary governorship election.
Recalls that ADULAWO NEWS had reported that INEC on Sunday suspended collation for Saturday’s supplementary governorship election after the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) Hudu Ari announced Aisha ‘Binani’ Dahiru of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner.
INEC invalidated the announcement, suspended Ari indefinitely and summoned him to its Abuja headquarters for interrogation.
It was also learnt INEC National Commissioner and Chairman of the Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye is at the collation centre.
Adamawa Returning Officer, Mohammed Mele, is also at the collation centre.
