The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has announced that there would be power outage in some parts of Ibadan from Wednesday, May 10, to Tuesday, May 30 over routine maintenance.
This was contained in a statement posted by the company on its official Twitter handle on Tuesday.
Part of the statement reads;
“Dear Esteemed Customer, Kindly note that due to a scheduled routine maintenance on the Fan Milk, Agodi II, T2A 15MVA, T2B 15MVA, Ayede Jericho 132kV line by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), customers in Total Garden, American Quarters, Idi Ape, Akede Road, BCOS, Idi Arere, Oja Oba, UCH, State Secretariat, Old And New Bodija, Oje, Bashorun, Awolowo, Yemetu, Ekotedo, Salvation Army, State House, Ikolaba, Mokola, Iwo Road and environs will be experiencing planned outages between 8am-3pm daily starting from 10th May till 30th May, 2023.
“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and assure our customers of improved supply as the maintenance exercise is aimed at increasing capacity of the existing lines,”
