A final year student of Computer Science at Benson Idahosa University has been reportedly died due to alleged negligence by the school clinic.
The deceased is identified as Bruno Chigozie and his school mates who shared news of his death, said he was left unattended to for hours at the school clinic which is allegedly unequipped.
The students who tried taking him to the nearest hospital so he could be treated were unable to because there was reportedly no fuel in the ambulance. When they finally got fuel, the school’s security allegedly refused to allow them pass until an official exit request is granted.
Chigozie, who is reportedly a 400 level student allegedly died due to the delay. Her mother was said to have collapsed upon getting news of his death.
