The Oyo State Police Command has carried out a surprise raid on the home of Mukaila Lamidi, better known as Auxiliary, the former chairman of the Park Management System.
Early Tuesday morning reports suggest that the police operation led to the recovery of various weapons and ammunition from his Ibadan residence.
While Auxiliary himself managed to evade arrest, some of his followers weren’t so lucky and were apprehended by the police.

Pandemonium Breaks Out In Ibadan Following Park Committee Proscription
In a related development, tension erupted in several parts of Ibadan, including Olodo, Iyana Church, Alakia, Isebo, and Iwo Road areas, merely a day after the proscription of the Disciplinary Committee of Oyo State Motor Park Management System, led by Mukaila Lamidi, commonly known as Auxiliary.
Sources that spoke with Daily Trust noted that unidentified individuals launched violent attacks on commuters and some members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in the early hours of Tuesday.

These attackers, firing shots indiscriminately, are believed to be associated with Auxiliary, who is reportedly currently on the run.
