Alhaji Oluwatomiwa Omolewa, the newly appointed chairman of Park Management System (PMS) in Oyo State, has vowed to transform the park system and deliver on the mandate given to him by the state government.

He stated this on Tuesday while featuring on “Dende Oro” a Fresh 105.9FM programme.

It would be recalled that Omolewa, who was the former PMS secretary in the state was on Sunday, June 4, appointed by the Governor Seyi Makinde as the new PMS chairman following the sack of the chairman of the disciplinary committee of the PMS, Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi, popularly known as Auxiliary.

The new chairman said his leadership will not derail from the laid down rules of the state government, stressing that there would be promotion of unity and orderliness among members.

“In the next two months, there will be drastic
reduction on how hard drugs and alcohol is being sold at parks and garages across the state. There won’t be excess taxation on commercial drivers and riders or unnecessary tickets.

“Identity card and uniform would be provided for the members for easy identification,” he said Omolewa, who urged passengers to always go to designated parks in the state to board vehicles in order to avoid falling into wrong hands, enjoined the masses to always call their office lines, 08068363333 or 08033945755, if they notice any strange move.

The chairman was accompanied by members of his executive committee including Alhaji Tajudeen Ejiogbe, Alhaji Amidu Were among others.
