The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of three persons linked to the killing of a naval officer, Akingbohunmi in Idoani community of Ose Local Government Area of the state.
The hoodlums attacked Akingbohunmi on Monday, June 26, during an argument with a commercial motorcyclist. The naval officer sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a hospital for treatment, but was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.
Funmilayo Odunlami, the State PPRO who confirmed the arrest of suspects linked to the attack said, “Three of the suspects have been arrested and we are still on the trail of three others involved in the incident. The suspects will be transferred to the state headquarters soon.”
