The State Government of Osun has warned the members of the general public have been advised to be weary of a fake advertisement on the internet claiming that the State Universal Basic Education Board(SUBEB) is carrying out recruitment.

According to a statement signed by the Executive Secretary, SUBEB, Mr Yahaya Bakare, members of the public are advised to discountenance the advertisement in its entirety as it did not emanate from SUBEB or any of the State’s MDAs.

The statement adds further that there can not be any form of recruitment until the ongoing staff audit by government is completed and areas of vacancies are identified in each MDA.

The statement reads in part, “The attention of OSUN SUBEB Management has been drawn to a circulating online advertisement that the Board is recruiting or about to recruit. OSUN SUBEB wishes to inform the General Public that the advertisement is fake, unfounded, and a figment of imagination of the author(s).

“The General Public is hereby urged to disregard the advertisement in its entirety as it did not emanate Osun SUBEB nor any of the State’s MDAs.

“The Executive Governor of the State had said it, severally and categorically, that the going staff audit will enable the Government know the number of the workforce and available vacancies in all the MDAs with a view to filling up the vacancies according to the financial capacity of the State.
