The Osun State Polytechnic Iree Alumni Association (OSPAA) has issued an invitation to all its financial members to attend the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The announcement was made by the National Executive Body of the association, urging members to ensure their participation by presenting their 2023 Annual Due Payment receipt as an entrance card.
The announcement was jointly signed by the National President, Alh Yakub Akeem Adebayo and the National Publicity Secretary, Adekunle Sikiru (Abacus).
The National Publicity Secretary, Adekunle Sikiru made the statement available to newsmen in Osogbo on Sunday.
The statement reads, “The AGM is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 22nd July, 2023, commencing promptly at 10:00 am. The venue for the meeting is the ETF Auditorium, located on the Ospolyiree Campus in Iree, Osun State, Nigeria. For those unable to attend physically, a Zoom meeting will be available, with the meeting ID 647 421 2971 and passcode rqQu6z.
“The agenda for the OSPAA AGM includes the presentation of Secretariat Reports, including the financial report, as well as discussions regarding the state of the association. Additionally, an Electoral report will be presented, addressing the filling of vacant offices. Any Other Business (AOB) will also be discussed.
“It is important to note that only financial members who have paid their 2023 Annual Due are constitutionally recognized to participate in the decision-making process during the AGM.
However, non-physical members particularly diaspora members who are financial members and have paid their 2023 Annual Due are also permitted to contribute their opinions via the provided Zoom link. Registered and financial members will be the only participants officially acknowledged during the AGM proceedings.”
The OSPAA urged all members to ensure their due payments for the year 2023 are made promptly to secure eligibility for participation in this year’s AGM.
