The Governor of Osun, Senator Ademola Adeleke has suspended the rector of Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Dr. T.A Odetayo.
The governor however announced Mr. Alabi Kehinde Adeyemi as the new acting rector of the institution.
This was revealed in a statement on Monday signed by the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Education, M.A.K Jimoh.

According to the statement, Dr. Odetayo was suspended following allegations of financial recklessness, corruption, misappropriation of funds and abuse of office.
