BREAKING: No Going Back On Planned Nationwide Strike – Labour Unions Declare

The Organised Labour has revealed that its nationwide strike to protest the removal of petroleum subsidy will proceed as planned.

Recall that ADULAWO NEWS had earlier reported that the unions, comprising the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), the Trade Union Congress (TUC),
resume dialogues over the fuel subsidy removal which led to economic hardship in the country.

However, the unions spoke after a meeting with government representatives at the presidential villa on Monday, expressed doubt regarding the ability of President Bola Tinubu to effectively control inflation and gasoline prices due to the unification of the exchange rate.
