Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, the wife of Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, has confirmed that her husband is returning to Nigeria after spending about three months outside the country for for medical treatment.
ADULAWO NEWS reports that ‘Homebound,’ Betty wrote on her Facebook page on Thursday with the picture of Governor Akeredolu sitting inside a private jet accompanying the post.

However, the leave was later extended indefinitely by the state House of Assembly in July.
Akeredolu transferred power to his Deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, in line with constitutional provisions.
Reports on Thursday had indicated that the Governor will land in Abuja from where he will later fly to the Ibadan Airport, a distance of less than 100 kilometres to Akure, the capital of Ondo State.
