OSPAA Denounces Kidnap Attempt On Chairman Of Orisun Igbomina Broadcasting Network, Calls For Investigation

The Osun State Polytechnic Iree Alumni Association (OSPAA) has condemned what it describes as a barbaric attempt to kidnap Mr. Ayodele Agboola, Chairman of Orisun Igbomina Broadcasting Network and a diaspora member of the association. The incident unfolded in his hometown of Ila Orangun, sparking widespread concern.

The press release, jointly issued by Alh Yakub Akeem Adebayo, the National President of the Association, and Adekunle Sikiru, the National Publicity Secretary, was disseminated from Osogbo, the capital of Osun State. The association expressed its utmost disapproval of the incident, which took place around 3:30 pm on Thursday along Ajaba road in Ila Orangun, Osun State. The assailants reportedly brandished firearms and other dangerous weapons in an attempt to ambush Mr. Ayodele Agboola’s convoy.

In a commendable show of support, the OSPAA Alumni acknowledged the efforts of the security operatives assigned to protect the media entrepreneur. Their swift response and bravery helped mitigate the situation and protect Mr. Agboola.

Furthermore, the association has urged the Osun State Government and law enforcement agencies to diligently investigate and uncover the individuals responsible for this kidnapping attempt.
