Lagos Govt Dislodges Traders Under Newly-constructed Bridge

The Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps, also known as Kick Against Indiscipline, has dislodged traders selling wares under a newly-constructed in the Oyingbo area of the state.

The spokesperson for the state Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Kunle Adeshina, shared photos from the exercise on his X page on Monday.

The photos were captioned, “Following directives of HC MOE&WR and complaints from residents, operatives of the Special Squad of LAGESC/KAI Monday dislodged street traders who have taken over & defaced the underneath of d newly constructed bridge at Oyingbo opposite Denton police station, Lagos Mainland LG.

“The HC MOE&WR, Tokunbo Wahab, has also given directives to operatives of LAGESC/KAI and related agencies to sustain the area and ensure that the traders do not return to the area.”
