Osun Community and Social Development Agency, (CSDA) is set to hold community development day celebration in Osogbo.
This was revealed by the General Manager of the Agency, Mrs Funmi Abokede while addressing journalists after meeting with communities leaders across the state in Osogbo on Friday.
ADULAWO News reports that the community development day, is to showcase the achievement of Governor Ademola Adeleke since he assumed office adding that the governor funded the agency under her leadership with huge amount of money and the money has been used to fund micro projects in different communities.
It was gathered that all communities which benefited from the agency to fund their projects across the state will also be joining the program schedule to on Thursday, December 28 at city stadium in Osogbo.
According to Mrs Funmi Abokede, “The benefiting communities are the ones we invited so that we can have pre-meeting ahead of the community development day to know what is expected of them and when to come.
“The different communities you have seen have benefited from different projects, those that never had water before in their areas like Bakasi which never had government intervention before now have water , those that their laborator have been damaged for over ten years the laboratories have been renovated, those that never had health centre now have.”
“Their is increase assess of social aminities to the communities in sustainable manner and it is important to showcase all these.”

While emphasizing on the importance of the agency with communities, she said “Their is increase assess of social aminities to the communities in sustainable manner and it is important to showcase all these.
“These micro projects that have been funded they are also contributing to the achievements of the five point development agenda of Mr Governor and will also continue.”
“Projects of Osun CSDA are evidence based intervention that we can see around the state that there is development in the state” she added.
She ,however, urged those who are expecting intervention from Osun CSDA to visit their office at Ayegbaju, Osogbo saying once they meet the criteria expected by the agency they we surely be funded.
