The Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde has signed into law Executive Order 001, 2021, following the unfortunate incident that claimed innocent lives and destroyed property in Old Bodija, Area of the Ibadan.

ADULAWO News reports that according to the governor, is on the safe handling and storage of harmful substances in Oyo state.
The governor, in a brief signing ceremony held at his Private office on Wednesday, said the move became imperative in light of the unfortunate incident at Bodija where explosives were stored in a residential area.
He said with the new law, such an incident will never reoccur in the state.
