Asaooni In Council of
Ora Igbomina, in Ifedayo Local Government Area of Osun State, has lauded Governor Ademola Adeleke-led administration move for the rehabilitation of Ora Igbomina water works.
The quite elated Asaooni In Council of Ora Igbomina in a letter dated February 8th, 2024, addressed to the Governor, said “We the supreme body of Asaooni In Council, and the entire people of Ora Igbomina, use this medium to express our deepest gratitude to our diligent people’s Governor for the resuscitation of Ora Water Works.”
While noting that, Water purifies the body and no one can live without water, the Asaooni In Council pledged its continued warmest supports every now and then to Governor Adeleke.

The letter reads in part “we appreciate your Excellency for the reinvigoration of Ora Water Works- an ideal project that subsequently became a community eyesore. And thus, deprived the people of Ora Igbomina the right accessibility to drinkable water.
“Your Excellency, this is a consequential project that will not only impact the domestic needs of the people Ora and its environs, but also capable of improving the economy of Ora and Ifedayo at large.”
It would be recalled that Governor Ademola Adeleke during the State Executive Council meeting held on Wednesday at the Bola Ige White House, Abere approved Of This One billion naira rehabilitation contract for Ora Igbomina Water works.

“On the Ora Igbomina water works, the Council directed that the mobilization of the contractor should be handled immediately in view of the worsening exchange rate” Spokesperson to the governor, Mallam Olawale Rasheed revealed.
