The Lagos state government has reiterated that street trading and hawking remains banned in Lagos state.
The state urges traders to desist from displaying their wares for sale on walkways, lay-bys, setbacks, road medians, verges, and curbs.
This was made known in a post on the X handle of the Lagos state Government on Sunday, March 3.

The post reads, “Lagos traders should desist from displaying their wares for sale on walkways, lay-bys, setbacks, road medians, verges, and curbs because street trading and hawking remain banned in Lagos State.”
