A Kano State High Court, presided over by Justice Usman Mallam Na’Abba, has lifted an interim order suspending Abdullahi Ganduje as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The order was vacated following a motion ex parte and a 27-paragraph affidavit in support, sworn to by Glory Adah, a litigation secretary.

The development comes after Haladu Gwanjo and Laminu Sani, claimed chairman and secretary of the APC Ganduje Ward in Dawakin Tofa Local Government area, secured an order suspending Ganduje as chairman of the party. However, Justice Na’abba reversed the order and adjourned the case to April 30, 2024, for further hearing.

Last week, Justice Na’abba had affirmed Ganduje’s suspension and barred him from parading himself as APC leader or presiding over party activities. However, Ganduje filed a petition against the judge and obtained an order from a federal high court in Kano, halting his suspension. The legal battle continues.”
